Attention: These Daylight Compact Fluorescents are great for reading and all kinds of task work because they reproduce a similar wavelength of light as the sun. You should know that their color is going to be more to the blue end of the color spectrum as opposed to the yellowish incandescent lights you may be replacing.

Instructions on how to use your Neptun Dimmable lights

What size bulb do you need?
Bulb width sizes are measured (for some silly reason) in 1/8 inch increments. To find out whether or not you need an R40, PAR38, R30 or R20 measure the width across the top of the bulb and divide that number by .125 If you measured 5" for example and divide by .125 you will get 40. Consequently, an R40 bulb will work for you. Also be sure to measure the overall length.
